   We had a truly disappointing experience at the Bushey branch of Villa Bianca for my birthday. We even hired a babysitter for the evening, as we rarely get the chance to go out due to childcare. This was supposed to be a special occasion, but it was absolutely not worth it—we were in and out within just 45 minutes! We arrived at 7:55 PM for our 8 PM reservation (slightly early) and were told where to sit rather than being shown to our table. We noticed that some guests had their coats taken, while we—and others—were not even asked. The service was rushed from the moment we sat down. We weren’t even given a minute to look at the menu before we were expected to order. Food and drinks arrived almost instantly, and we felt pressured to finish quickly. Even the guests at the table next to us complained about the same experience, yet the manager was defensive, simply stating, “We need the table.” Yes, it was a busy Saturday night, but it was clear the restaurant could not handle a full house. Instead of providing a good dining experience, they were simply churning customers in and out. By the time I returned from the toilet, the bill had already been paid. It all felt so rushed and impersonal, as if we were at a fast-food restaurant rather than an Italian dining experience. One of the main reasons people dine out is for the atmosphere and service—but we didn’t even receive a spoon for my spaghetti Bolognese or a simple check-in to see how our meal was. This experience left such a negative impression that we’ve told my parents to cancel their upcoming wedding anniversary reservation. We genuinely feel that some form of compensation is warranted, as our evening was completely ruined.

   Waitress very rude. Didn’t warn us that we only had the table for 1hr 30mins and blamed open table. Told us to ‘hurry up’ after we had just finished our mains. Didn’t give us any time to order a dessert or finish our bottle of wine. We wouldn’t return.

   Quality of the food and range of menu was excellent and customer service was first rate, especially their attentiveness to the needs of our baby grandchild Would definitely recommend

   We had a lovely evening at Villa Bianca last night, the food was excellent. Was it expensive? Well that all depends on how you judge it against the quality of the food you are served, I have paid similar amounts for meals of a much lower standard to that we received last night, the wine list prices are a bit of a shock to the system though, way overpriced. The noise level was perfect and much better than other restaurants around the high street which tend to get rather loud and deafening the more the wine flows. The waiter, Daniel, was very attentive, but not overly, and made sure that all our requirements were fulfilled as requested. Will we return, yes most definitely but because of the high prices I think it would only be for those very special occasions rather than the “off the cuff “ meal out.

   This restaurant is a real gem. The food is top quality regardless of what you order. Service is attentive as well. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the area. So happy Villa Bianca has opened in Bushey.

   Really enjoyed our dinner at Villa Bianca! Fantastic service and amazing specials. The lamb Ragu was great! My wife had gnocchi from the menu and loved it. Overall great experience will be coming back!

   The food was very good although a bit pricey but great quality. Fortunately our table of 2 was located in the middle of the restaurant however we did notice that the other tables for 2 people located against the walls are very close together and could infringe on one’s privacy. The service was excellent.

    The welcoming was good but it sort of went downhill somewhat after that unfortunately. Was very difficult to understand the waiter, who kept referring to me and my father as “my sir”, all very OTT, and my parents couldn’t understand anything he said at all. The specials are not on a board where you can see them they are read to you by the waiter, but some were starters and some were mains and this wasn’t explained well at all until we started asking a lot of questions to clarify, it was all very confusing. Far easier to have the specials on a board so everyone can see them! Food was nice but tbh nothing special for the price. My sister had the special pizza but it was very soggy, she only ate half, the waiter said he would see what he could do, but he did nothing as it wasn’t mentioned again and it was still on the bill at the end. I had the seafood linguine which was nice. We ordered two flat white coffees but two cups of hot milk arrived, the second attempt was better but I was rather surprised as they own a coffee shop in Hampstead apparently. My daughter wanted the fruit salad for pudding, was mostly melon with one grape and two very small chunks of strawberry, she was rather disappointed. They did bring me a happy birthday plate with some tiramisu and a candle which was very nice of them and tasty tiramisu. There was confusion when paying the bill at the end, again a language issue, but with a woman this time who wasn’t listening to how we wanted to split the bill. It was refunded and re processed, but this could have been avoided. At the end we gave our number token back and asked for our coats. They took the token but never came back and forgot to bring the coats so we had to remind them. Overall it was ok, but not what I was expecting. It felt like it was their first week opening tbh, somewhat disorganised etc. I have lived in Bushey for many years, and the bottom line for me if I were to compare is it was not as good service or food as Zaza’s.
