   The service was awful our waitress Taylor barely remembered our orders and mixed up our checks when we paid. When I give my credit card with my bill I don’t expect to pay for someone else’s bill and they pay for mine. It took forever to get drinks and food lacked any kind of flavor. My wife’s filet looked more like a ribeye cut in half and my lingiunie that supposedly was spicy per our waitress only flavor was butter. We multiple times asked another waitress where our drinks and food were at. We were highly disappointed in the service and food

   The pan seared swordfish I ordered had no crust. It was tough and lacked favor. I ordered for the table. Not sure if I’d order that dish again.

   I’ve only heard rave reviews about this restaurant. Today we were the first to arrive (6 minutes early-as we were told) but were seated before our 4:30 reservation. Our waiter was very informative and we ordered lobster bisque & corn chowder as a starter. No one in the restaurant and both soups arrived lukewarm to cold. My husband sent his back-I wish I sent the lobster bisque back too. Both were flavorful but cold. Delicious bread & butter, now on to our entree. We ordered the surf & turf and swordfish (special of the day). The 4 shrimp with the steak were so salty-I ate one. The steak was thin and over seasoned as well. My husband’s swordfish smelled so strong-I asked him how it tasted. He worried the rest of the evening if it would make him sick. Not sure if the restaurant was closed for 2 days? We were the only folks there because it was early…other folks arrived as we were leaving but freshness & temperature of the meal should not have been a factor. We left disappointed-maybe something else was going on? This was not the dining experience I was expecting-we made the decision to dine there via recommendations from many friends. Hopefully you will have a better experience.

   Great service and the food was on point! The steaks were cooked to perfection and it was the best calamari I have had in Charleston! After some recent disappointments with other restaurants downtown, we were so pleased with Victor's service and delicious food! We will be back soon!!

   Always a great experience at Victors! Dash behind the bar is the best in Charleston. Must go to if you are in town!!

   Waitress was great, ambience was nice. We were only ones in the restaurants at prime time hour which was odd as places next door we packed. The mashed potatoes were cold. The steak (filet) was tough and lacked flavor. The asparagus was quite good. The price was on the high end, so as far as value I'd rate it a 0 if I could.

   Overall, good meal, however ... it was Xmas eve so expected the kitchen to be a bit slow, but not an hour for entrees. My steak was ordered Medium and arrived Rare, sent back, came back warmer than the first time but still Rare. Manager apologized and gave us a free dessert. No real complaints but I should not have to get a Rare steak after ordering Med and sending back once.

   Victor's steak and seafood was good my son steak was overdone though, and it was chilly in there, and the service was a little slow with all the people

   Service was excellent (thank you, Allison). Very knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we always had what we needed. Love the ambiance. Beautiful, old, charming space located off the beaten path. Check out this place for a good meal that won't break the bank.
