Via Vite is a modern Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati on Fountain Square with the largest outdoor dining space in the city center . Our menu features Chef Cristian Pietoso's creative Italian cuisine using the best local and imported ingredients available. We have private rooms available for all size groups and types of events.

*On New Year's Eve and Valentines day we only offer a pre-fix menu

    We were upstairs, table of 7 and away from the crowd. The windows were blocked so it felt like we were having dinner in a warehouse. Way too expensive for the quality of the food and slow service.

    The food and atmosphere is always outstanding. The dirty martini which is always really good was very salty to his time, burning still managed to down two.🍸🍸🫒🫒

    My girlfriend and I went here for a date night on a Saturday. The restaurant was nearly full for our 6:30 reservation. The interior is clean and modern with windows overlooking Fountain Square. We were greeted and promptly sat at a nice table. Our server introduced themself and asked if we had any questions. We typically study a menu and know what we want beforehand. We ordered two cocktails, the white sangria and the Italian mule. The sangria was fruity but not overly sweet. The mule was tart with a refreshing bite from the ginger beer. I would recommend both. We started with the veal meatballs. I'm not a huge fan of veal because I don't think it has much beef flavor and is too mild. The sauce it was in convinced us to try it. I'm glad we did. It was extremely flavorful, with just a touch of lemony zest to brighten the dish. I would recommend the dish as well. We then split a Caesar salad. They split it in the back for us. It was classic and delicious. The dressing was sharp with a good amount of pepper. Lots of parmigiano-reggiano shaved on top. I would happily get it again. We split the lumache all vodka for an entree. The dish features a house made pasta with a delicious spicy sauce and sausage. This has become one of my favorite dishes when I find it on a menu at an Italian restaurant. This version did not disappoint. We cleaned the plate it was so good. I highly recommend it. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts. They were flavorful and hearty. Most places are deep frying them to get a crispy crust. These were not crispy, but soft and tender. We tried to save room for dessert but finished all the dishes we ordered and were too full to try something. We'll definitely be back and will make sure to save room for dessert.

    Fantastic- enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Service was outstanding, food was delicious and it felt very comfortable and private for talking among friends. Festive atmosphere foe the holidays. Highly recommend!

    We always enjoy our visits to Via Vite. Taylor was our waiter and he was just wonderful. He was fun and helpful. Always enjoy the table visits from head chef, Christian. His visits add a special touch and show his devotion for his craft and his appreciation of his customers.

    I would give this restaraunt 5 stars if it wasn't for the temperature inside, it was cold! had to keep my coat over my shoulders the whole time. Food was excellent!
