   There was a long wait for everything. Drinks 25mins. Food for an hour and then my daughter's food didn't arrive at the same time. Wait staff did not attend our table, except to deliver food. Were given stools instead of seats even though we had booked beforehand. Restaurant appeared very understaffed and overbooked.

   Awful customer service. Cannot fault meals but attitude from manager was disgusting. Thank you to the staff for being lovely and trying to make this atrocious evening better.

   Drinks took too long, 1 pizza was totally burnt on bottom, had to send it back, pizza base was too thin with barely any toppings

   We booked a table for 11:30am and I specified that 2 members of our party had bad backs and would need a low table with proper chairs, not stools. We arrived at 11:15am and their trading hours on the door say they open from 10am 7 days a week. When we entered we were informed that they don’t open until 11:30am. So we sat outside and waited. When we entered we were shown to a low table with stools. I said no I had specified our table requirements. Our server then directed me to sit outside at any table. Unbeknownst to us there were tables inside out of the cold so this was disappointing. If the heaters had been on it might have been okay but they were not. To share we ordered a Garlic Pizza, I ordered the Gamberi Garlic Pasta, my husband had the BBQ Pollo Pizza which he shared with another member of our party and lastly our friend ordered the Beef Ragu. The Garlic Pizza was good. Both pasta dishes needed salt, and the pasta wasn’t cooked well, it tasted a bit chalky, neither of us finished our meals. The pizza was lacking in cheese and BBQ Sauce but they did eat it all. There were no desserts as they’d sold out, I’m presuming the night before. The serving staff checked on us twice, once to make sure we’d ordered. When my meal came out it was a good 10-12minutes before anyone else’s. To sum it up, it was a very disappointing lunch date with friends from out of town.

   Dined for 5pm, only 2 low high chairs and one was covered in food so had to use a broken one. One out front girl who liked to chat with bar staff and ignored when I rainmswd my hand for service, had no idea what was not available on menu, very slow, always had back turned to tables to chat. For a pasta house, the lasagne was very dry, the carbonara was undercooked and couldn't eat it, a cocktail was so bitter coulsnt drink it. Have had vapianos many times but never at toowoomba, and this place definitely needs to step up their game. We did get a refund for the pasta, but with a baby we needed a good quick meal, nit one we wanted to wait for it to he recooked.

   Recent change in meals has lowered experience and options for those requiring gluten free meals. Unfortunately the gluten free pasta meals received were of lower quality. One went uneaten and a refund provided. Was hoping to recommend, however we won’t spend money here again due to food quality. Atmosphere and wait staff were good.

    It was our first time at Vapiano Toowoomba & we were very impressed. The food & drinks were sensational & all reasonably priced. We highly recommend & can’t wait to return there.
