The Union Oyster House, located on the Freedom Trail, near Faneuil Hall, enjoys the unique distinction of being America's oldest restaurant. Boiled lobster was tasteless. Service poor despite not being busy. Disappointing visit.

Fantastic, all around. Food and service was better than expected! I assumed it would be a tourist trap, but it absolutely was not! Best Boston crème pie we ever had as well!

We had another wonderful visit to the Union Oyster House. The food was delicious and promptly prepared. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We parked in the Haymarket Parking Garage and the restaurant validated our parking ($3 for 3 hours, amazing!). If you have tall members in your party, would recommend to not sit in the booths (in the lobster viewing area). It's nice and private, but a tight fit for those with long legs!

We had a large group and Union Oyster House made accommodations for us. The clam chowder was very good. The group seemed please overall with the food and experience.

This Play in really great the food, and there was absolutely wonderful. The oysters were fresh and so good. The clam rolls were out of this world french fries and coleslaw were excellent. The french fries were very different, but they were very crispy and had a great taste. This place is excellent. You need to go and try it out. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful also.

The Union Oyster House was a great spot for a sit-down lunch. I met my customer there, and we were both pleased with the service and the food.
