The Union Oyster House, located on the Freedom Trail, near Faneuil Hall, enjoys the unique distinction of being America's oldest restaurant. We came for oysters and were not disappointed. Will was our server and he was very personable and checked up on us frequently. The French onion soup was okay.

Great food and outstanding service. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathroom was not very good. The prices seemed high for the food received.

The food was really good. We had fresh oysters, clam chowder, sea scallops, fried clams, and Boston creme pie. The server even brought us a serving of cornbread while we were waiting for the food to arrive. Outstanding all around. The booth was a little tight, but hey, its the oldest restaurant in the US, so maybe folks were smaller back then. :-)
