Service wasn’t amazing, but still had to pay the 20% automatic gratuity. Server spilled first round of drinks with nothing besides a quick sorry. She forgot to put an app in and overall was slow service

Overall the place was great and the food delicious. We had an unfortunate issue when the meal was over we asked for to go boxes the server took the plate at which we thought they would box it for us. Eventually we asked for the food come to find out it was thrown out. The manager then said oh we will take $5 off… the meal was more than 10$ and there was half or more left of the meal. It kind of felt in-genuine.

I ordered a masa description was “Crispy corn tortilla, asiento, black beans, cecina, chorizo, quesillo, cilantro, avocado, creamy salsa verde, salsa macha.” With over easy eggs and chorizo on the side because I don’t eat red meat. The food came out cold. The eggs came out overcooked. The item came out just as described a large tostada only it has steak and bacon with chorizo on the side!!! I looked at the menu and there was one word in Spanish that I overlooked “cecina” you would think the waitress would tell me you might want to get something else since cecina means meat!!!!

Our dining experience at Tzuco was extraordinary! The culinary creativity and bold flavors in every dish left us impressed. We started with the Mayan Ceviche, which was a refreshing masterpiece. The delicate hamachi paired beautifully with the tropical sweetness of pitaya and mango, while the habanero gelée added just the right amount of heat. The sour orange and achiote aguachile brought a tangy brightness that tied everything together, and the crispy fried plantain offered a perfect textural contrast. Next, the Pulpo Enamorado was a delight for the senses. The guajillo-roasted octopus was tender and rich, complemented by the smoky depth of the salsa macha. The pickled carrots and peas provided a tangy and slightly sweet counterpoint, while the creamy tonnato aioli and tender potatoes rounded out the dish harmoniously. For our mains, the Pumpkin Risotto was a highlight. The creamy risotto had a luscious texture, enhanced by the sweetness of roasted delicata squash and the savory richness of braised short ribs. The pickled shallots added a lovely acidic pop, perfectly balancing the dish. Finally, the Braised Short Ribs were an indulgent treat. The meat was fork-tender and infused with deep, earthy flavors from the Guajillo and Ancho chiles. The charred avocado and Brussels sprouts added a smoky complexity, while the tomato and onion offered a light freshness that kept the dish from feeling too heavy. Each plate at Tzuco felt like a thoughtful blend of textures, flavors, and vibrant ingredients, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of Mexico. We will certainly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

Our server was AMAZING. However, the team at the host stand was so chilly and disengaged we thought we had done something wrong. Again, the SERVER provided exemplary hospitality, but our experience entering the restaurant was so disappointing that we couldn’t think of anything else during the meal (which was delicious! incredible food and inventive cocktails!) We felt like we either weren’t cool enough or we just weren’t welcome there.

We had 2 different types of margaritas, both great. We had 2 appetizers, guacamole and mayan ceviche. Both were very tasty. But the ceviche was with larger sections of hamachi. I would prefer smaller bits of fish at once. For main dishes, we had the pumpkin risotto and the salmon. Both were outstanding. For dessert we shared a snowman. Very cute sculpture, and really delicious. It's a must try.,
