We are a family run pub located in the village of Woodlesford just 6 miles south-east of Leeds city centre and is a stop off and refreshment point on the central section of the trans Pennine trail. Welcoming walkers and locals alike. We are also dog friendly.
Newley refurbished the pub still retains its charm and character and the first thing you will notice when you arrive is a warm and family friendly atmosphere and our staff are only to happy to serve you.
We serve food throughout the day in our dining area, there is also a sports bar and a function room with a large screen. Outside there is a heated covered dining area.
Celebrate Mother's Day in style! Treat the special women in your life to a delightful three-course set menu crafted by our team of chefs with the love and care our Mums deserve.
Take your pick from a selection of scrumptious starters, hearty roasts, and indulgent desserts - we've got something to really make her smile. So, kick back, relax, and let us do the cooking and the washing up while you give Mum a day to remember.

Food and service was fantastic as aways.
Fantastic to see and make use of the February half term offer “ children eat for a £1 with any main adult meal”
My nephew loved playing on the child-safe dart bored in the pubs games room and he loved playing the children board games that where all available to use in the dining area.
Thank you to all the team

Very slow service, took nearly an hour to get food which when you've got a 1.5 year old with you makes it very difficult to keep them entertained that long when they are hungry. Never got an apology for it being so slow either, and the food was nothing to rave about. Substandard and not very hot!

Gandis flip flop would have had more moisture than the beef on the Sunday roast. The waitress was more interested in her pot noodle than serving the punters. Don't blame her for bringing a pot noodle

First of all a BIG THANK YOU to Viv and her team of staff for always make me feel very welcome into the pub.
O
Today for Sunday lunch being vegetarian I had the mushroom & tarragon pudding with fresh seasonal vegetables and fluffy crisp roast potatoes and gravy.
The Sunday lunch was cooked to perfection and very filling
I had no room for a pudding.
I would highly recommend a visit for food and drinks.
