   My overall experience was just ok for my first visit. The restaurant was out of straws, the server wasn’t attentive and moved with no urgency about anything, another server ensured that my water was refilled. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was ok. Oh and reportedly they were out of the free glass you get for becoming a member. I’ll give it another try another time, maybe.

   This was our second visit to Tupelo Honey and once again we had a great time. The food was delicious. The server was very attentive and the atmosphere was a great vibe. We’ll definitely be back soon!

   The food served was absolutely fabulous, which, of course, is the big issue for me. The service was adequate, but not necessarily excellent. We did have long waits for someone to receive our drink order and food order, and we had quite a long wait for our food to be served. When the food did come, it was nice and piping hot and well prepared. There were at least three entrées on the menu that were not available due to them running out, which was unfortunate, as this was in the early dining hours (6:30pm). One in our party ordered a half-chicken. However, since they had run out of dark meat, the half-chicken was not available, and the solution offered would have been to make two two piece orders with no offer to match the price of the half-chicken item. Also, the restaurant was very noisy, and we had a hard time carrying on a conversation as a result. When we went, the patio was closed. This was a shame because it was nice weather outside and the noise level would’ve been much lower.

   The service was top notch. Our server kept our drinks filled and was knowledgeable of the menu. The food came out hot and fresh. I would suggest getting a table in advance because there is a strong possibility you could be waiting if not .

   Enjoyed this new restaurant for the first time in Columbia for lunch. Service and food were very good. Nice ambience and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

    Our server was very polite and made the birthday celebration overall very pleasant. Food was delicious and great for the value. Would recommend
