   We have always enjoyed True Food Kitchen, but this evening we were disappointed. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan served with spaghetti squash. The squash was room temperature at best. The salmon dish I ordered was delicious. We were not happy that the dessert we ordered to share was served before I was even finished with my entree. I had to ask our waitress to remove our dinner plates so we could share the dessert. We felt very rushed!! There were lots of staff working but their service was not coordinated.

   Many enticing menu options and all healthy. Good beverage options. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Essential to reserve in advance. Great location in La Encantada shopping center.

   We requested in our reservation a table in a quiet corner, and we received exactly that! The hostess and server were very friendly and helpful; we bought Dr. Weil’s cookbook (YUM) and looked through it for recipes while the chefs prepared our SCRUMPTIOUS meals exactly as we’d requested. Five stars—thank you!!

   We appreciate that the menu offers so many gluten free choices. We like the newer(?) combo offering of a starter and entree with option to add wine or dessert—great idea! We get to try more things without having a large entree. Keep up the great food and service!!

   The food was delicious and fresh. I had the grain bowl. Sweet potatoes were spicy yet great. Green herb sauce was delicious.

   Our server Kennedy was welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. Great appetizers of roasted Brussels sprouts and hummus. Delicious fresh blood orange margaritas. My husband’s poke bowl was a smaller portion but very good, highly recommend the grain bowl with avocado. It was an our first visit and we would definitely return.

   Just not a good restaurant. Healthy food, if it is, does not have to be bland and uninviting.

    Excellent espresso martini, perhaps best I’ve had. Waitress very accommodating of special requests. Food tasty. Nice outdoor tables. We intend to return soon.
