Just went for Valentines meal 2025. Food was disappointing. One bite of the meatloaf told me it was overcooked and generally didn't taste good. Mashed potatoes were so soft they were almost runny. One bite of each and I was done with my meal. Everyone in the restaurant had their coat on since it was so cold inside. Drink menu is weak. I can understand not offering sugary soft drinks as a "Healthy Restaurant", but at least give an alternative. A few fruity drinks for $7 is a little insulting. The other 2 meals the family ordered were ok. The waitress never asked how things were or inquired why the meal she was taking way was exactly as she brought it to me. The 3 meals and waters all around came to $82. $100 w/ tip. We have expectations for a that much money. True Food was a disappointment all around. Even if it was a $39 bill, but for the price - we will not be back.

We have been to this location 25+ times. Tonight was not great. :( Service was really slow. They forgot salmon on my husband's bowl and I switched it up and got the meatloaf slides. They lacked flavor and left of half the ingredients listed on the menu. By the time they brought the toppings out, it was cold. My skinny margarita came out the same time as my food. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately this was our third and last not so good experience at True Food Kitchen. I rarely ever write reviews but given that this was our third try, I think it’s warranted. I love all things “healthy” food and the menu always sounds good, but the actual meals never live up to the description. We went to dinner at 5:30, so it was not busy inside at all, with maybe a bit more people on the patio. The waitress, while sweet, never came by to check on our food, remove dirty plates or bring our check. We ordered edamame dumplings to start with and they came out cold and undercooked. Two (out of the five) were actually completely stuck together and not opaque like the other, but rather doughy. My husband ordered the tenderloin, medium. His meal came out luke warm, at best and medium rare. For a grass fed tenderloin, it was stringy and very hard to even cut through. I ordered the tuna poke bowl with forbidden rice and veggies. The bowl came out with the rice in the middle and I believe it was overcooked as it all stuck together and was mushy. I am not even that picky, but for what we paid, this was not okay. Sadly, we won’t be going back.

Food was good despite my spaghetti squash being cold. The ambience was ok, but for the price there are nicer restaurants with better ambience. The service was a bit slow, whenever you have to look around for your waiter for 10 minutes I consider that slow.

Our waiter was great and the food was good. I had the avocado toast and the flavors were great but the crust on the toast was incredibly tough. It did keep me from eating too quickly. I’ve ordered this before and it is probably just one-off.

It was a Saturday night and they were slammed. They were out of a lot of food and drink items, and good service was challenged. It was also very loud. Love True Food Kitchen, but the experience was subpar on this visit.

Amazing food and service. Everything was delicious. As a group we tired the Brussel sprouts and pistachio guacamole and both were fantastic. The guac was a unique shift and did not disappoint. For the dinner tried the seasonal butternut squash soup (now on the hunt for the recipe to replicate at home) and rev Grain Bowl with chicken that capped off the meal with great flavor. Highly recommend this place, this will now be a staple in the mix of restaurants for my wife and I.

We’ve eaten at Seaholm many times and love it. our experience at the domain was completely different. it seemed like it as going out of business. We ordered two Manhattans. And the server brought the drinks without letting us know that they had run no cherries. Two people in the party were not able to order their first or second wine choice because it was out of stock. One out of four meals came early. That person was finished with her meal before ours arrived. And her meal was her second choice as they were out of her first choice meal. The server was unaware what was no longer available and had to keep coming back to our table. We were disappointed. I hope it gets better. We’ve always been a fan of true food.
