Our experience from start to finish was wonderful. The ambience, vibe and music were perfectly suited for a Saturday evening in KC. It was nice to be able to have a late booking and really enjoy the experience. Kelsey took great care of us and kept the laughs at our table going. She was attentive and not overbearing and always quick witted and very good about recommendations. We tried a few different items on the menu and shared it with our group of 4 and it was a great amount of food for the group. The brussel sprouts, the octopus, meatballs and the scallops were our favorites of the evening. Only item we would not repeat was the cauliflower. Based on how well seasoned all of the other veggies were, that one was a bit lackluster and just bland. The elotes were also a hit, however it would have been MUCH easier to eat and share if the corn was cut off the cob. In addition to the food, we also enjoyed several of the cocktails. We mostly had the seasonal cocktails which were a hit with the table.

Simulates fine dining. Flavor profiles are wildly bland and the technique is lacking. Scallops were overcooked. As was the hanger steak. The roasted mushroom dish was comprised of conventional (grocery store) mushrooms and the sauces that flourished the plates beneath the featured items literally had no flavor. It felt like an AI-generated experience where all the plates looked pretty good until you put the food in your mouth, and then you wondered why. I think there was a Star Trek episode where the crew beams down to a planet where a delectable feast awaits them and then they dig in only to find the food is not food at all...

I was excited to try this new spot but it fell a little short of my expectations. The food portions were pretty large - based on the menu (because nobody explained the concept to our table), I expected the plates to be smaller and more focused on interesting flavors. I felt the food lacked inspiration and was way too much for the two of us. We ended up ordering the kafta meatballs, roasted cauliflower, roasted mushrooms and fries. We waited for a server for 20 minutes until the bartender took over our table. She was truly lovely, but got busy at the bar and wasn’t able to spend much time with us. I saw a front of house manager walking around but she didn’t seems to be concerned about connecting with the guests. I know this spot is new, so I’ll give it another try once they work out their kinks.

Simply amazing. Buddy suggested it. We had the bread plate - get it!- a salad, beef short ribs, and duck. Just amazing food. Another gem in Kansas City.

We enjoyed our experience there — it’s well worthy trying. Service was friendly and accommodating. Our favorite dish was the octopus. No idea how they got it so tender; it was some of the best we’ve had. The scallops, shrimp and grits and smoked Old-Fashioneds were good as well. The only disappointment was the sliders — they were good, except for a too large and very dry bun. Atmosphere was industrial, which made it a bit “cold” and loud.

From the moment we walked in everyone was so kind and welcoming! Dinner was incredible. Everything we had was delicious but I’d go back again tomorrow for the bread plate and the burrata. Can’t wait to go back!

The hostess was not welcoming. There isn’t much room for people to come inside the door and stand to wait so we moved out of the way to allow others to come in. She was annoyed we didn’t stay by the hostess stand with the door to the restaurant wide open. All of the food tasted good, but none of it was hot. The noises from the kitchen were loud and distracting to the dinner. The lighting system is terrible, through out the night the light over our table would dim and the brighten continuously throughout the dinner. When we asked our server, he said it happens when they turn on the dishwasher. It became very distracting. Our server Dylan was great. He offered suggestions and answered questions. He never made us feel rushed. There is a lot of potential for the place to be great, I hope they work out the kinks and get better.

Food: Good but over priced for the small plate portions meant to share at the table. Availability: Multiple items on menu not available for dinner service. Service: Great and accommodating staff. Overall the experience left our party wanting more.
