The crawfish pie and chowder special were great, but the chargrilled oysters were not. The service was good, but the ambience left a lot to be desired. It was fine, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to go to again.

Over this was a wonderful date night experience I would give it a 9/10 because the food was a little bland but overall service was great and well enjoyed.

Food was great! Minimal wait times, even on Mardi Gras Day. Great selection of oysters. They were running low on the specials and menu items.

Love the oysters here, both raw and chargrilled (of which they have like 8 choices), also highly recommend the Brie pepper jelly burger, the crawfish pie, garlic bread and boudin balls. Great for larger groups.

Dinner was tasty overall. I had a combo that included gumbo, mac and cheese and rice with beans. I will admit that the beans were quite creamy and tasty. Good meal overall

My family and I love going out for both brunch and dinner, but we normally visit Trenasse for brunch. This time, we decided to switch things up and try dinner—and it was absolutely amazing! We started with a Dozen on the Half Shell, Crispy Boudin Bites, and Unca Duke’s BBQ Shrimp, each bursting with rich Louisiana flavors. The Crawfish Mac n’ Cheese was creamy and indulgent, and the Fried Brie & Pepper Jelly Burger was an unexpected but delicious highlight. Every dish was perfectly prepared, making for an unforgettable meal. The restaurant’s festive Mardi Gras decorations set the perfect atmosphere, and we loved seeing so many guests dressed in purple, green, and gold—including us! Our waiter was not only hospitable but also incredibly entertaining, making the night even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the Morpheus parade was passing by, adding even more excitement to an already magical evening. Of course, the cocktails were fantastic—we even took three to-go! Everything about the experience was perfect, and we can’t wait to come back. Whether for brunch or dinner, Trenasse never disappoints. Mardi Gras truly is the most fun time of the year!

Food was quite good. Enjoyed the International oysters and red fish. Green tomatoes were ok.. not as good as some I had this week. All in all.. a solid meal.

This is a great little treasure hidden away in the Intercontinental Hotel! The oysters were excellent and the “Taste of Trenasse” is not to be missed! Goes great with the Fried Green Tomatoes, which, on a bed of etouffe, is a great twist! This one is a gem!

This is a hidden gem in the Hotel Intercontinental! My salad was fresh & delicious with a variety of lettuces, tomatoes, corn, peas & radishes. I added grilled shrimp that were fresh, large & not overcooked. Service was outstanding too!
