   Nestled in an undisclosed location at the resort, you go through the doors and the ambiance sets the tone with a fireplace, leather seating, and dimmed lighting. Our experience was memorable. The food was decadent, and our service was on point. I would recommend visiting this restaurant whenever at Oglebay.

   After a highly anticipated trip to Trace Chophouse at Ogelby, we left more than satisfied. Started with the bone marrow and clams casino, both delicious! Next was lobster bisque, safe to say there was nothing left the spoon could retrieve. We shared the A5 Wagyu, literally melted in the mouth. Highly recommend! Then came the ribeye. Perfectly cooked. Could’ve been a little thicker but all in all very good. It was accompanied by the Diane sauce, also wonderful. For sides we got the mash potatoes (riser) and creamed spinach. Possibly best creamed spinach I’ve ever had. Service was amazing, Kristen/Kirsten went above and behind. It’s hard for me to give Ogelby any kind of praise, but the did a wonderful job tonight.

   the food was sensational . the waitress did an exceptional job as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Just be ready to spend the money. you get what you pay for. and I would say this is the premier restaurant in ohio county.

   We both ordered the porterhouse and both were overcooked and had to be redone. The table next to ours also had a filet sent back and redone. We understood steaks were the feature here so it was a bit surprising. To pay top dollar with this result. Recooked steak was good but not great. The cut was thin. Service was great, manager took good care of us and gave us fresh sides so they weren’t cold. Ambiance and decor was really nice. Our server and the rest of staff was top notch.

   Really nice ambiance, warm and inviting. Black Angus Beef, filet mignon, was delicious. Add the Diane sauce. Asparagus, garlic potatoes ( portioned for two) were excellent. Spinach, warm bacon vinaigrette salad and creative white chocolate dessert In the shape of a pillow brûlée was decadent. Add a Spanish, peperrie red wine With each entree. Brandon, our server, was very personable and knowledgeable. Enjoyable dinning for a special occasion.

   Fantastic! Amazing addition to Oglebay. The staff was knowledgeable of the menu, had great recommendations and the service was impeccable. And also- the ambiance? GORGEOUS! The interior decorators need a high five!

   The decor and interior is excellent....although small, the tables are placed where you aren't on top of others. Bread was great. Steaks were just okay.

   Was not satisfied with this experience. Side dishes were luke-warm and filet was not exceptional.

    Unfortunately the food was not very good. Dinner for 2 with one alcoholic drink was $220 with a $50 tip. Better options in the valley. Steak was tasteless.
