                                                                                          Everything about our dining experience tonight was spectacular. The food, service, staff were great. The duck confit was delicious. As were the scallops on the half shell and the grilled octopus ceviche. It’s one of our favorite restaurants. We haven’t been there in a while but will be back again soon. It’s worth it for a special evening!

                                                                                          The food was remarkable. The table was most uncomfortable. When I sat in my chair, my left arm hit the beam. No table of that size should be in a restaurant. The service was not what it was when Toulouse first opened. The waiter was nice but the helpers could not speak or understand English. The purse hanger was not brought to my table until they brought out the food to go. There were many other tables available. Not sure why the shoved us to the wall.

                                                                                          Great food, nice waiters, and very lively just so you know. Don't go for a quiet meal. However, I'm writing this on Christmas day so it's not surprising that lots of folks were eating there.

                                                                                          Due to it being busy and the Christmas holidays I did not communicate my issues with our server or management. However, the worst steak I’ve ever had. I asked for medium it was so over cooked. Not to mention the steak was not good quality to begin with. I ate it to be polite and didn’t want to cause an issue. The music was far too loud, could barely hear the person next to me talking. Lilly was our server and she was awesome. She had a few big parties but she was super attentive to our table. The extra staff filling water and clearing the table were also very attentive.

                                                                                          My table had a wonderful time at Toulouse tonight, and I feel I should review some of the many positive things we experienced. The biggest win of the night was our waiter, Bryan. The guy was perfection as a waiter. My date and I are both OpenTable VIPs who know excellent service, and we agreed that the service experience was perhaps the best of the year. Bryan answered our detailed food questions, adapted to our crazy idiosyncratic requests, kept the drinks going on a busy Saturday night, and coordinated the valet at the end of our meal so the car was ready when we headed out. Flawless! The food here is excellent. The bread service features some of the best butter in town, so I recommend you start there. After the bread service, we continued with an order of lobster mini-tacos and the fromage cheese plate. We both got seafood specials for entree (scallops for me; sea bass for her). The $75 asking price for each entree special includes top ingredients like truffles, truffle oil, etc. I loved it and trust that you will, too.

Unfortunately, we’ve been here a couple of times and the food is just disappointing, nothing out of the ordinary. If the food was leveled up with the amazing outdoor environment, this place would be unbeatable!!
