Terra restaurant is located at Tottington Manor which is beautifully situated in the South Downs National Park with hillside and farmland views, yet it is just 10 minutes from the A23 at Pyecombe and the A27 at Shoreham.

With a menu showcasing the best of local ingredients cooked fresh each day by our team of chefs, you can enjoy dinner in the restaurant, or outside on our decking, or in winter time, choose our more relaxed fire side Olive Restaurant.

In addition we have a number of private dining options available from 6 to 95.

Our South Downs Suite is completely separate with its own private garden, stretch tent and bar and is ideal for family celebrations, parties and of course Weddings. Come and be part of the VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations where our Chefs have prepared a very special Afternoon Tea Menu and an English Garden Spritz on arrival. Come and listen to Sussex Historian Stewart Angell who will present a video tour of the underground tunnels here at The Manor and will talk about the vital role Sussex and our Sussex people played in the war effort. I was a bit disappointed by the quality given what was sold and the price. No proper coffee (Nespresso machine only) cheap juices sold as fresh. Strawberries and yoghurt was in fact one strawberry each swimming in natural yoghurt.

Sorry to read that you didn't see value in our £25 Mothers Day Brunch which included Buck Fizz, Strawberries & Yoghurt, Bread & Preserves, Full Cooked Breakfast with a choice of other options available, Juice and Coffee/Tea. All our meat products and where possible our fruit and veg are sourced from Sussex. Our Nespresso Machine is the same as you find in Michelin Star Restaurants like Interlude, it is a commercial machine that delivers consistent great tasting coffee, our juices are locally sourced from Folkington's and are pure squeezed eg the orange juice is 100%, we would of been delighted to bring you more strawberries if this was brought to the attention of your server. We are very proud of the quality and providence of all our produce and will continue to support local business

We had a delicious lunch with our daughter celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary on Tuesday. We were delighted to be given a glass of sparking wine at the table while we perused the menu. Lunch was delicious and all the staff were delightful and the service was excellent. We were brought a complimentary slate with Happy Anniversary in icing sugar and a mini brownie & strawberry tart with our coffee. A really lovely dining experience.

I visited for my birthday meal on a Friday night, the minute I walked in I loved it. The music, the ambience and service was lovely. The food was amazing, so tasty. I literally can't wait to go back!

First visit to Tottington Manor in decades for an anniversary meal and we were not disappointed. The staff were attentive and professional from the moment we arrived, the food was excellent and so were our surroundings. Nothing negative whatsoever, we were most impressed.

Visited as group of 3 for Afternoon Tea for a 90th birthday. From the moment the door was opened for us to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The table was in a quiet area (as we requested). The food was absolutely lovely, perfect sandwiches, quiche, sausage roll, then a huge scone with delicious clotted cream and jam then brownies, shortbread biscuits, carrot cake & mini trifle. The birthday girl was presented with a glass of bubbles, had Happy birthday sung to her & given an extra piece of carrot cake with a candle! Absolutely outstanding food & service at a lovely restaurant in a gorgeous countryside setting. Thank you for making my friends birthday extra special ⭐️
