    The food was wonderful. Its a great sushi spot with tasty house made creations. The Saki flight was a great experience. Overall, we had a great time and we'll definitely be going back again.

    Very nice sushi restaurant. It was a cool night and would like to try it again when the weather allows for outdoor seating. A very nice selection of sushi and sashimi. Staff was attentive and made nice suggestions.

    A little jewel box of a restaurant, understated and very comfortable for our late lunch. The fish was very fresh, cleanly cut and nicely plated. Our seaweed salad sparkled in its dish and was perfectly seasoned. “Chef’s choice” nigiri sushi was an array of luscious, great quality fish on neat beds of rice; no omelet, eel or other items that can feel like filler. Our waitress was solicitous and affirming of our choices, even though we shared an entree. All in all the meal was a delight. We are so happy to have a Japanese restaurant of this caliber in humble Carmel!

    I absolutely love the chicken teriyaki at this charming spot in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The cozy interior, complete with a fireplace, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. During the day I prefer to sit outside. They do have gas heaters if you want to sit outside in the evening. Great selection of Japanese beer. A quaint place for both food and ambiance.

    Had a top notch omakase dinner here for my partner's birthday! We shared an amazing selection of delicious seafood and lovely drinks, and left full and satisfied. Our server, Sensi, was present and attentive, and we appreciated their low-key birthday acknowledgement with no embarrassing fanfare.
