   Booked at table outside and when I arrived the outside area was physically open and set but they said it was closed for seating. Service however was good otherwise. Would not necessarily recommend the rags as the sauce was essentially absent from the meat to my surprise. The other ravioli dish was good that my guest had, just small.

   Great food, great cocktails, great view. Very casual and affordable. Service was slightly off, didnt ask if I wanted another drink, didn’t offer desert menu. Besides that, was great.

   Was good to have to our hotel, but average is just average Was an anniversary meal while.on holiday, mentioned when booked...and on booking note....but nothing mentioned or even tried to make it special- no big deal, just not attentive on guests needs/reasons for meal Ticked off the list, but maybe see what else is about next time

   We are both vegetarian. The vegetarian options are predictable and basic. For a highly rated restaurant the food was no better than we had been eating at small places around Europe. It was hot and sticky sitting outside. The wait staff were not particularly engaged nor pleasant - with service at the level of a basic cafe. At one stage we were asked by waiter 2 in a gruff manner to place our order for desert as they were closing, at the very same time that our main course was being placed. That might be OK in a basic budget cafe, but in a fine dining restaurant? In any case we had our desert (a nice sorbet to not waste their time), and when we asked what sorbets they had, the initial response was "whatever is in the cart" which was inside - and we were not even aware of. In any case we were finished and out ahead of the last two tables, so I really don't know what the fuss was all about. I note Open Table was offering later times than our booking, so again don't know what the rush was.

   Quality of food was good although a bit underwhelming for a Michelin 1 star restaurant. Service needs improvement - our Primi’s were delivered before we had finished the Antipasti. When we objected to this, the Primi were placed under heating lamps for approximately 10 minutes. They were overcooked when delivered. Also, when the plates from Primi were cleared, the Secondi was delivered the same minute. Again, the quality of food was good, but we felt very rushed and that the service was not coordinated. Dolci and coffee was really good. What a pity that the windows towards the beach/Palm have so much glare that it is impossible to enjoy the view when dining.

   The chef may have a Michelin star for his restaurant in Italy but the food here was nothing like anything which resembles even 3rd class Italian food. The ragu was creamy rather than with tomato and sweet with pasta which was stodgy. My companion's risotto was described seafood had no flavour of the sea. The decor was cheap with a faux 50's ice-cream parlour vibe. This was not catering for adults. The plus point; the manager did remove the ragu from our bill which was a kind gesture and the staff were attentive.

    Food is always delicious, and the staff is nice and polite; we were just extremely surprised when they told us they’re not allowed to let us take away the leftovers. We are talking about 3 full dishes, that the staff would throw. It’s an unbelievable and unnecessary waste of food. We really hope the management will reconsider their choice on the matter.
