   First time eating there. We had came by years ago and it was packed and couldn’t get a table. We finally decided to try it again, but we made sure to make a reservation this time. No complains about this place. Everything was good and we will be going back.

   We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch at Tokyo Kitchen. Our server was attentive and personable. Our Chef was entertaining and engaging. The food was excellent!

   We have been going to Tokyo Kitchen for decades. The teppan experience you get is the best we’ve found by far. The quality of the ingredients used is superior to other teppan restaurants, and we’ve tried them all in the Inland Empire. You will not be disappointed.

   Well its not like the previous Tokyo Kitchen experience. Im pretty sure the reason for our recent experience was they were understaffed and cutting corners in quality of ingredients. We were a party if 8 some of us didn’t get our sushi orders till the end when everyone else was finished with the meal. Even the the cook was finished. Rolls were falling apart and fish did taste like it should. The management new how bad it was and offered us free beer. I hope they make some changes because its actually a cool place. It may be a while if we go back

   Went to Tokyo Kitchen to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was a great experience. The waiter and chef communicated well, and came by often to check on us. All had a great time, and we made good conversation with others who sat in our grill section. Will definitely return to Tokyo Kitchen in Montclair.

   first time and everything was amazing. we came at a good time before their rush hour which was around 7ish. overall a great experience. thank you to our waiter for recommending the jalapeño poppers! worth the price and a good portion of food. WAAAY better than benihana 💓

   While I do think TK is on the expensive side, the food and service is wonderful. They do not skimp on the food and I never feel like I didn't get enough to eat. I am so glad that we still have this restaurant (post covid) and it is always a favorite place to go .

   Had a reservation for 7pm, for two. Checked in around 6:55pm. We waited until close 8pm before leaving. Our name was never called, upon check in we were never notified of an expected wait or kept in the loop. Very disappointing. Maybe cut off reservations if it’s a busy night. Or at least keep your customers updated.
