   We usually love this restaurant, but something was different this time. The hostess did not smile when we arrived. When she took us to our table (outside, as requested), she initially sat us in the area of the rooftop that is cramped (it's more of a lounge with smaller tables packed together where my wife and I have no choice but to cram in side-by-side) and covered (it was a beautiful night outside, so we didn't want to be sheltered in). There were at least a dozen open tables, including some along the railing with the best view. We asked to switch tables, and the hostess seemed annoyed, saying the only table we could have was one against the rooftop wall, between several other patrons, instead of the many open tables. After sitting down for a few minutes, we saw a couple arrive (well after our reservation) and sit at the table by the railing while other patrons sat down at one of the more intimate tables that our hostess had bypassed. Our waiter seemed pleasant at first but then scoffed when we said we wanted to order an appetizer to enjoy with our first drink before ordering entrees. The last time we went there, the food came out so quickly, and our dining experience felt rushed. Our appetizer hadn't arrived yet, but he returned with a somewhat demanding, "Are you ready to order your entrée?"Also, when my wife asked if they still had their Mezcal specialty cocktail, our waiter responded, "No, we don't," and didn't offer an alternative or suggest asking the bartender to make a similar drink. Now, my wife could have asked, but she shouldn't be necessary. The food quality remains excellent (especially their egg rolls), but the portions don't justify the cost. If the atmosphere and service had been more inviting, I might have ignored the smaller plates. Last but not least, my wife was disturbed by a girl seated next to us not wearing a bra under a see-through shirt. I consider this restaurant to be classy, and allowing that was unacceptable. #dresscode

   I’ll start by saying the food and drinks at Thyme are very good. However, our most experience was ruined by a really rude manager. We waited over an hour between getting our appetizers and our main course. The manager came over to “apologize” but she actually came over to give us an attitude about how busy they were (the restaurant was empty) and never actually apologized or acknowledged how long we had been waiting. Such a shame too because our server was excellent. With that being said, if you are not hungry and have 2.5 hours to waste on a two course meal then go to Thyme, otherwise go somewhere else.

   Awesome. 10 out of 10. Menu was incredible. Friendly staff - everyone from server to host. You’re surrounded by amazing views through tall glass windows. Can’t wait to go back!

   Giovanni was our waiter and he was attentive and personable. The food was outstanding and so were the drinks. Pomegranate drink was lovely. Karen, the manager and head of beverage, was awesome. We will definitely be back!

   We were treated royally on our special occasion. We were seated at the best table in the house for two overlooking the confluence of the two rive rivers. The service was excellent and the food exquisite. They surprised us with a champagne 🍾 toast for our 58th anniversary. It was a wonderful evening.

   We loved our experience! We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and we had the perfect seats with the perfect view of the river. The waitress was spectacular. I cannot remember the spelling of her name, I’ll give my best go, Alyah (I hope I got it semi close) WAS FAB , she nailed down the food ingredients well, I asked for a wine of her choice and she nailed it. Chicken dumplings, Braised short ribs and the pasta of the day were out of this world. Not to mention I was given a spoon for my pasta before the dish even came out, TICK TICK TICK. I appreciated how we received different silverware for each part of the meal, another tick! Drip coffee actually tasted like coffee! I felt like a queen as soon as I walked in. Highly recommend. Also take note to the coat rack by the hostess station. Quite smart.
