Presentation was exceptional. Food was good - though not quite as good as it looked. Very expensive if you are going to have drinks.

This place is a gem in the Durango, CO area. The food was fantastic and i am a picky eater. There was a wide range of options and everything was cooked perfectly and presented well. I am a carnivore and my wife is a vegetarian so finding a place for us both was a challenge and this location knocked it out of the park. Great drinks, great food.... and awesome desserts. Best of all, the staff was incredible and we had everything we could want. Highly recommended.

We dined at The Yellow Carrot for the first time after seeing the dishes online, and it was a remarkable culinary experience. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully plated and expertly prepared. The impeccable service added to the enjoyment, and every dish exceeded our expectations. I look forward to returning on our next trip to Colorado. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Well done to the chef!

Drop what you are doing and go dine at this fabulous place. The food is spectacular, the staff super friendly. It’s a culinary adventure not to be missed - even if - like me - you are a vegan!

The service along with the food and drinks was excellent. We had the brussel sprouts done 3 ways, the life-changing fries, and the shepherd’s pie; everything was delicious. Their food presentation is awesome. Very enjoyable dining experience :)

The food is bad. The service is great. The $60 halibut special was horrible. The fish tasted old and frozen. For that price point I was expecting fresh and delicious fish. The whiskey cocktails were very good. Seems like they put more time into the plating than the taste.

Very creative menu with delicious results. Photogenic presentations. Outstanding, attentive service. The pomegranate roasted beets were delicious and unlike any beet dish that I have ever tasted. The wild Mediterranean salmon was delicious. It more closely resembled a Vietnamese pho than the usual slab of salmon that I was expecting. For visitors to Durango who enjoy fine cuisine, this restaurant should not be missed.

Feels like the menu was curated by someone who has no idea what flavors go together. There is a lot of emphasis on presentation over taste. For example, to serve an unsliced duck breast for $46.00 in a bowl is both annoying and amateur. As we looked around - nearly everything was served in a bowl for seemingly no good reason. Additionally, everything we ordered relied too heavily on sweet flavors - with very little savory flavoring. I was excited to try for the vegan/vegetarian offerings but they were all too sweet. Give ma vegetable curry for dinner not one that has mango and blueberries as the "protein" and a "spinach dumpling" that is simply spinach rolled up in a ball. Spinach rolled into a ball does not make a spinach dumpling.
