    The staff were fantastic and let us move tables. Food was very good, even the child portion was substantial. Wonʼt hesitate to go again.

    Sunday lunch was nicely cooked but was only lukewarm. Not good value for the money. Waiting approx 45 mins for desserts and had to chase up twice. Eventually they arrived. Not sure why it took so long as only cakes and ice cream. Lemon drizzle cake was dry. Was not worth the money they charged.

    Really delicious Sunday Lunch, great portions and good value for money.From ordering we didn't have long to wait for our meal and the staff were courteous and polite.I would certainly recommend The Woodside.Well done guys.

    Once again we had a delicious and relaxong meal. The service is friendly, helpful and efficient. We would thoroughly recommend The Woodside.

    Fantastic place - under new ownership since April so if you have not been for a while I suggest going back - Staff were fantastic, fun and friendly, making everyone young and old feel welcome. Food offers were varied including great roasts and meat, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options. We will be back

    First time I've used the OpenTable app, it was very good and worked well. The Woodside was excellent, the tortellini was absolutely beautiful.

    We did comment at the end of our meals that three out of the four meals were superb. One meal, however was not liked by one of our party. The gammon was described as dry, the potato was not mashed as ordered and the gravy was too salty. We did not request any refund or any response to our comments - just left the feedback.

    We were in a party of 4 people and three of the meals were good but one had to be sent back as it was a burnt steak and ale pie. The pastry on the second attempt was still overcooked and hard to cut. The price of the beer had increased significantly by 60p per pint since our previous visit. However we didn’t want to make a fuss and enjoyed the evening overall, just
