   Perfect pit stop pub for a late Sunday afternoon after a visit to Spitalfields, whether a tourist or local . The staff were friendly and welcoming, with many choices for my friends for on tap lager. bitter, beer. The food options were very favourable and even as a vegetarian their vegan Sunday Roast was very flavoursome. Great value too. It's nice it has been kept traditional in style , not just another bistro or chain pub either. Definitely recommend

   Really lovely food including a choice of vegan options. Nice selection of guest ciders. No hot drinks available, even with dessert. Not sure if that was just today or as a general rule.

   We had Sunday lunch with family over from the Netherlands. The pub was relatively quiet, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Proper Sunday lunch with a good choice of meats and a vegan option, and all the trimmings. Our visitors were very impressed and we liked what we had very much. Could have done with a nap afterwards.

    All the staffs are enormously kind, but unfortunately it seemed like online booking is not in their usual business scheme since they haven't closed slots when they are fully booked. Maybe later I would visit there again for their kindness and hospitality but that would be preceded by verbal confirmation.
