   Had a nice dinner at the White Goose. We both had a starter and a main course and the food was good. We shared a dessert and this was also nice. The menu had a varied selection and neither of us had a problem choosing something to eat. We had a bottle of Italian Grillo/Chardonnay which was pleasant and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and very polite. Only negatives were that they had run out of some bottled beer that was on the drinks list but the main negative was the temperature in the restaurant. It was a cold evening outside but there was no sense of entering into the warmth when we sat at our table, so much so that my wife kept her coat on for the whole meal. In summary would we dine there again? Probably but we'll wait until the weather gets warmer.

   Enjoyed this experience with an itson gift voucher. The staff on this day very friendly and welcoming. The food was good and we enjoyed each of the dishes.

   We went with an Itison voucher which included two courses and a glass of wine. Unfortunately we were only able to choose from the brunch on sandwich menu , with only the offer of soup as a starter or one dessert. In spite of the good service offered it was disappointing

   Conditions of itison voucher not met i.e. did not honour the deal to choose from the main menu, rather had to choose from either brunch or sandwich menu which was not the option purchased. Food was average but the experience was overall disappointing as we did not want or expect sandwiches for lunch. The house wine was nice though. Will not be rushing back.
