   Food was excellent, coffee I felt a bit on the cold side. As with just about every itison voucher you are always allocated a poorly situated table for some reason! If I wanted to entice customers back and would give them a better table. We requested a different table which we were given. I will be returning to The White Goose and will recommend to friends.

   We went for our booked meal and were told due to "kitchen issues" they could not fulfil our booking and apparently they had called all diners (apart from ourselves).

   We had a great brunch at the white goose this morning. As we arrived we were spoken to straight away and seated very quickly. Our server was lovely and made me feel ant ease about my allergies which was no problem. The food was delicious!! The price was good too Thankyou

   The restaurant was very cold and we asked to move seats, but was still cold, not sure if the AC was on during winter. Starter was Luke warm and main the steak was fine but other parts was really cold for example the mushroom. Waiting staff was excellent tho

   First time at White Goose and was pleasantly impressed. Ambience was really nice and romantic. Service was quick and waiter/waitress were very polite and eager to please. The food was excellent I had salmon for a starter and opted for a rib eye steak and it didn't disappoint. It was well presented and really tasty. My partner had haggis bon bons and the chicken pasta which was really good. We didn't have a dessert as didn't fancy anything on the menu. I enjoyed a house cocktail a strawberry aperol spritz which was lovely. I had purchased a Black Friday voucher so got the meal and drinks for half price so can't complain. Very good value. Would definitely go back again.

   Nice venue, we were sitting near the window at the front, it was very draughty, I kept my coat over me the whole time. There were just a flew little things that looked messy, maybe a cupboard would help at the front enterance eg front door, lots of paper cups piled up, boxes etc if there were in something it would look a lot nicer and more welcoming. Cloths left in the toilet for cleaning, they need to be put away. Overall it was OK. Between £15-£23 for main meal.

    This was our first visit to The White Goose. We were greeted by a very friendly smiley waitress who looked genuinely pleased to see us. We were given water and she took our food and drinks order. What can I say about the food. We both agreed that the meals were two of the tastiest we have had in a long time. The flavours were amazing and plated beautifully. I struggled to finish mine as the portions were very generous. We will definitely be back. The surrounding were lovely and the place itself was cosy as it was very cold outside.
