Food was excellent service very good too. Always a pleasure coming to the restaurant for a pre-theatre meal.

Unfortunately the restaurant had no record of our booking, despite confirmation by text and email a week before. We waited for an hour and ten minutes before being seated. Our food took about another hour to arrive. Food was actually very tasty, no complaints here. A member of staff apologised at the end of the evening and said the drinks we’d had at the bar whilst waiting would be complimentary. However, we were charged the next day. when we subsequently complained, they promised this would be refunded. Once again, this did not happen. The customer service was shockingly bad and this ruined our weekend.

Whilst the food was as good as usual, the service was incredibly slow. Once seated with menus, at 7.00 pm, we had to chase for a drinks order after waiting 20 mins. Hummus and bread took 35 mins to arrive. We chased up twice for our main course, which we didn’t get till 8.20 pm. We asked why it was taking so long and were told that the restaurant was very short on staff that night. The staff tried their best in difficult circumstances.

The new menu is slightly more expensive but food still very good. Choice also slightly smaller. It was much nosier and hard to have a conversation not sure if because slightly bigger tables and open plan at back.

Food great, service good, music too loud. Need to sort out their offers as I had a voucher for a free bottle of Prosecco and it took some time to agree that it was not 20% off a bottle. Otherwise I would return as I like the menu.
