   Lovely relaxing atmosphere and the food was good. They accommodated our dietary requirements, very happy 😊

   Food was small potions and really nothing special. Server got drinks order incorrect. I don’t know if staff write orders down but might I propose that this is made mandatory?

   Even though we’d booked a table for lunch in advance we had to squish in next to 2 other diners as for some unknown reason a whole section of the dining area ‘wasn’t being used’ we were told. Waiting staff all looked miserable and none were on the ball as far as taking orders. We had to get the waiting staff to notice us arm waving as we’d been sitting for some time waiting for our order to be taken. This had to be repeated to get waiting staff’s attention to order desserts and coffee, and again to ask for the bill. We placed a simple order of 2 smoked salmon sandwiches. The waitress had only ordered one! We weren’t surprised as she hadn’t written our order down and relied on her memory. My friend ordered lemon drizzle for after which wasn’t drizzle - more a very dense lemon sponge with white icing on the top. Clearly not made on site. Wouldn’t recommend this cafe. Enjoyed the exhibits so will eat elsewhere if I return.

   Paid £55 for Afternoon Tea…very poor Waited to be shown to table..while staff chatted Table dirty Tea served with no cups Had to get attention of waiter numerous times Wasn’t attentive Food not great..carrot cake dry..poor choice of sandwiches Not enough milk for tea Put chairs on tables at 4.30..we were there from 3.30 until 5p Not worth it Beautiful room…could do so much better

   The setting of the Wallace Collection restaurant is delightful, but service was unenthusiastic and rather laid back. The food was alright, but not very exciting. Overall the experience was not as good as I remembered it from a previous visit.

   It is one of the loveliest places in London to have lunch; I can recommend the Wallace Collection highly.

   A good tea in a beautiful atrium but I arrived with my small, folding Brompton bike and was refused entry by Wallace collection staff. Not allowed in the museum. They were unhelpful and indifferent. Nothing on the tea room web site about this. Spoilt the tea. Don't even think about this place if you have anything bigger than a handbag!

   Lovely peaceful courtyard restaurant.Food nice ,friendly service.However the room temperature was chilly at lunch time today .

   We visited with two long standing Friends who had never heard of the Collection and were - well awe struck - with the huge collection of pictures. We never managed ( this time ) to take then to all the floors. Capped by an enjoyable lunch - and the staff were most friendly. They will doubtless be back - and so will be for our seventh or eighth visit. Helen & Hugh Pierce

    The staff were very professional and could not have been more attentive and helpful. The food, whilst not grande quisine, was well prepared and very tasty, enjoyed in a really engaging ambience which well offsets the cultural feast which the Wallace Collection offers its visitors. The restaurant was not crowded when I went. Three courses with starter olives and nuts and four glasses of bubbly, + service just shy of £90 per person
