At the heart of campus, visitors to the University of Pittsburgh will find a hidden culinary gem at the University Club. Our Club features multiple restaurant outlets - the College Room, Fraternity Grill, Rooftop Terrace and Cafe 1923. The Fraternity Grill is reserved exclusively for Club Members, but all remaining outlets are available to be enjoyed by the entire University community without a membership requirement.

Our restaurants feature an extensive and approachable menu featuring locally sourced, seasonal dishes. Happy Hour specials are offered M-F from 4-7pm. During warm weather months, our Rooftop Terrace offers unparalleled views of the Cathedral of Learning.

Whether you're visiting campus, cheering on the Panthers at the Petersen Events Center or the Fitzgerald Field House or taking in the cultural gems of our neighborhood, add dining at the University Club to your plans.

The atmosphere of the rooftop terrace at the University Club is relaxed and refreshing. Both drink and food menus are diverse. We enjoyed the portabella mushroom and reuben sandwiches with chips and fries, which we would recommend. Staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful for menu selections. The view from the rooftop terrace is a great backdrop to a nice evening.

Pleasant environment, exceptional wait staff who was vary warm and friendly. Food was very good ...loved the broccoli cheese soup and salad..

I have been a member of the U. Club since Pitt reopened it and have always enjoyed the restaurants and events. What makes the place extra special are the people. In the restaurants, there are Roy, Rosa, Greg, and Michael. They cater to their customers in a professional manner. They remember names and always add a special touch. I had a group of 7 students with me last night. Roy was our server. All the selections were tasty, fresh, and enjoyed by my guests. The chef does an excellent job! I love Robyn who greets you at the front desk. She has the perfect personality for welcoming anyone who enters the club! I’ll be back soon.

Beautiful night to sit on the terrace and look out over the Cathedral of learning and Oakland. Service was excellent. Food was great.

Amazing view of the Cathedral of Learning was fantastic... Overall ambiance on the terrace was really nice and something special. Our group ordered limited food with (2) appetizers and one caprese sandwich. Sandwich was really good with excellent homemade ships. Hummus platter and charcuterie board apps were excellent. Serving staff were extremely friendly. Only issue was that there was quite a few yellow jacket's flying around our food most of the time.
