At the Schoolhouse Restaurant, our flagship dining space, we take all bookings. If you prefer a more relaxed vibe, our stunning courtyard connects all areas and offers the perfect casual setting. While we don’t take bookings for the courtyard, you’re welcome to request it in your booking notes, and if the weather cooperates, we’ll be happy to seat you outside!

For group dining, The UB offers several private spaces, ideal for gatherings of 8 to 40 people. Whether you're hosting a business meeting or celebrating a special occasion, we have the perfect setting for you.

Whether you're after an intimate private dining room, or the whole Schoolhouse restaurant, we have plenty of options. Spaces include: The Lobby is a small and intimate private dining room for up to 8 guests. The Bank Room is a large private dining room for up to 18 guests. We loved our night at The Union Bank. The quality of the food and service was outstanding. The bone marrow, beef tartare, octopus, sirloin and fennel salad were all divine. The dinner winner was the ice-cream sambo (but recommend you share this!)

The food is consistently well done. Most of the staff are fine but unnecessary passive aggressive remarks by one sever ruined what was otherwise a nice night.

A very disappointing experience from start to finish We were excited to dine at Union Bank but right from the start the signs weren’t good, as it took 25 minutes to get a wine list, and a further 10 mins to get a bottle served … and on that topic, I regularly buy the bottle of wine we ordered from the winery here in Orange so I was a little taken aback at the 140% markup The food was ‘good’ but not on a level that I was perhaps, mistakenly, expecting The octopus was overcooked, the paté was noticeably bland, the steak tartar a mishmash of confusing flavours Which brings me to the wait staff … preoccupied, inattentive and slow, really slow As a dining experience, it most certainly wasn’t a good one

Fantastic location, atmosphere and food. We were sat in the outside area, which was simply the best place to be when the sun's out.
