   Brunch was very basic considering the chef driven aspect. Everything was good, but nothing was special at brunch. Maybe this neighborhood spot shines during other meals; I always hear rave reviews. Service was solidly good. I would definitely come back for a lunch or dinner menu try as well as a backup option for brunch, but I wouldn’t make a reservation for brunch again.

   My friend and I went to enjoy dinner after not seeing each other for an extended amount of time. We were greeted by a hostess who pointed to a small 2-top in the center of the room and said “we have you here” in a flat tone. We sat and were shortly greeted by our server, who also happened to greet us, so I’m assuming servers just greet and seat in lieu of a hostess. Katie quickly asked us if we wanted appetizers at which we ordered cocktails and requested more time to look at the menu. I found it odd that beverages were not offered before appetizers. It’s a good time to add to your check average to sell cocktails first, as well as simply proper steps of service. Katie came back to ask about our appetizers and I wanted to know what her favorites were or “don’t miss items” on the menu. She seemed annoyed by this question and explained to me that everyone has different tastes… Yes, that is how the world works, thank you for that comment… Katie did not seem to enjoy our banter or want to participate in it. We were having fun, so whatever, no big deal. Omitting all food and beverage reviews, by the end of the meal, my friend asked me “why does Katie hate you?” I was surprised he asked because I thought it was just in my head the way she was treating me. She wouldn’t look at me and would only talk to my friend. I’m not sure what I did to her and neither was he. I’d like to add that in addition to the poor attitude, her timing was all off. We would’ve ordered at least two more cocktails, one more entrée, and dessert had she had provided timely service. But I think because she was so mad at us for whatever reason she was ignoring us.

   Great, except for all of the wasps. They were outside and INSIDE the restaurant which made for an uncomfortable dining situation.

   Service was excellent but fish was incredibly bland, almost to the point of extreme.

   We had a great date night here. The food recommendations were great, and the newly released October drink menu was great (give the sour patch kid cocktail a chance!). We had the gnocchi and the beet hummus it was awesome.

   Dogs all over the patio. Begging for food from a distance. It was me and my dad for his first time, and I talked it up as if it were a fancy place. So, after being seated he actually laughed at me and said “This is what you consider up-scale?” :( Slightly embarrassing (in that moment) but the food came out great! Server was great!

   Kiahna, It sounds like you may have joined us during one of our Yappy Hour events we host to benefit local non-profit animal organizations. While our back patio is dog friendly, our front patio and dining room are reserved for humans. We would be more than happy to accommodate you in an area where you would be more comfortable. I am sorry that this negatively impacted you experience with us, however, am glad to see you enjoyed the food and service. We would love to welcome you again in the future!

   The restaurant was able to adjust our reservation size from a party of 2 to a party of 3 on short notice, and upon arrival were able to change our request from indoor dining to outdoor dining. The service was outstanding, both in the knowledge of the waitress of the menu and wine list, and in the pacing of the service of our appetizers and entrees. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food and dining experience. I will return regularly, and will gladly recommend the Treehouse to others.

    I had the pleasure of dining at The Treehouse for brunch, and it was wonderful! We were greeted by the hostess & quickly seated at our table. Jess, our server, took excellent care of my friends & I. Made sure water was refilled, coffee was warmed, and that we had fresh silverware for our entrées! I ordered the French Toast, and it read served warm. The bread slices were huge - so I has plenty to take home. We also dined on their biscuit platter (note: the blackberry jam & honey butter were SLAM DUNKS all around). It felt cozy, comfortable, and relaxing to be there. Cannot wait to come back to this hidden gem in Nashville!
