   I’m from Rockford and am proud of this place being in my backyard. My host and waiter Michelle was outstanding. Also kisses to the chef!

   Third visit for Brunch Boards. While I know the original boards were very large and cumbersome for staff, I missed the originality of a board! The food was generous and tasty as always; however, my only complaint is the removal from the menu of one of the best brunch items - brioche brûlée. While the wait person assured us the replacement was better - it was not! Speaking of waitstaff, our server was delightful and attentive with great customer service skills - sorry I didn't get her name, although she was probably the older of the employees.

   Views are very nice but service was just ok. It took a while for servers to clear our table even after rounds of drinks were brought out. Food was just ok, sadly I was hoping for better.

   Food was horrible. Never have high hopes when I eat at a hotel, but this gel way short. The Brussels sprouts were swimming in sauce, barely cooked and weirdly had cooked apple slices in them. The salad had the same oddly cooked apple pie slices vs fresh apple slices, as one would think would be in a saad. The salad was swimming in dressing. the flatbread had tomato sauce overload. there was one artichoke, cut in half on tbe pizza. it was the entire artichoke, core and all, which also was barely cooked. the service sucked. which was odd because it seemed like 6 servers were working but odd because hardly anyone was there.

   We ordered the traditional breakfast board and it was great! More than enough for 2 people. Our waiter was wonderful however I do not remember his name. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly!

   Food and drinks were great! Our server was fantastic! The only complaint that we have is when we arrived we were sat outside, which was fine. We asked our server if we could sit on the lower level for the better view. She told us that they couldn’t open that section due to being short staffed. Perfectly understandable! She said they might be able to open it up later. After the meal we wanted to stay and have a couple more drinks and noticed that people were beginning to sit on the lower level. So we asked our server again and we even said we will go to the bar ourselves and she wouldn’t need to check on us. She said that was fine! So we headed down there and another employee very rudely approached us and said we couldn’t sit anywhere down there due to all of the tables being reserved. How did it go from not available to anyone to being totally reserved as soon as it was opened? Didn’t make sense and that employee was NOT friendly at all.

   Very good waitress and food/drink. But too dark - gas lights were broken and no table lights.

    We had an unexpected extra diner and this was accommodated with grace. We had dinner and drinks. The food was amazing, especially the watermelon salad! I found the drinks a little sweet, but our bartender adjusted this on a second cocktail. The server was great and the view was amazing. We will be back!
