   First visit to the Tolbooth and most certainly won’t be the last. The whole experience was excellent. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent too. Thank you!

   We arrived at 18:00 for an early dinner which turned out to be a good decision as the Tolbooth soon filled up, however we had the staffs full attention for the first part of the evening. The staff were amazing and saw to our every need throughout the evening. The food was delicious, we will definitely go back again.

   Lovely local restaurant, nice decor and ambience inside. Great to see it was busy in winter as well as summer. Delicious menu and great friendly service.

   I booked a table for my daughter’s birthday and brought balloons as a surprise. No member of staff said anything yet a table across from us had a birthday also. They were attentive to the other table. Quite disappointed as was all young people serving but shall say very good but didn’t come over unless for ordering. No interaction 😞 We could not fault anything else otherwise as food was as usual lovely
