Following a major refurbishment in Autumn 2014 under the new ownership, Sally and Dave pride themselves on offering fresh, local, homemade food every day from 9am to 9pm.




The various menus include restaurant quality seasonal dishes from the ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ section through to a great selection of fresh fish and tasty steaks.

    Food and choice of menu were excellent. Ample portions of freshly cooked food . Four of us ordered 3 different meals. All were well presented and tasty.

    We contacted the restaurant to ask if they could increase our party from 3 to 7 having booked a Sunday lunch time. They were so helpful and juggled their tables to accommodate us. We had a lovely time with excellent service and great food.

    Excellent food & service. Much lighter & warmer. Liked refurbishment. Staff very pleasant. Food consistently good quality. I like small haddock. Would recommend a visit. Friends we were with, - very impressed.
