Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
The Terrace At The National Concert Hall provides a "perfect pre-concert venue" with a diverse menu and "absolutely delicious food." While "friendly and attentive service" enhances the experience, some diners find prices high for the food quality. Ideal for early meals with convenient concert access, its "lovely ambience" is a highlight.

Sad to say this was very disappointing. The food was not good and expensive. We ordered one starter which was €17 and did not look freshly made but like somthing pre-made from the freezer. Our mains were brought out before we recieved the starter and there was some confusion. My partners meal was obviously left under a heat lamp while he ate his starter and so the fish was dry. He was asked if he wanted a fresh one while handing him the original one. The staff were nice and the room lovely, but the food was very poor.

The best fish and chips in town. A big helping with lovely thin batter. Couldn’t be better.

Handsome room. Decent food. Excellent & friendly service. Ideal location for an early dinner if you are attending an event in the Concert Hall. And free parking literally outside the door!!! Will be missed by many during the upcoming major refurbishment works.

Having booked and n been confirmed I was disappointed to have the lady at the desk tell us we were not booked in. She did however find a table for us. My meal -Fish and Chips was Very Good, However my wife's choice Bass in a sauce was cold and off-putting - I had to order a second portion of chips (hot) to augment her meal.

Arrived slightly early and were greeted by waitress at door who confirmed our booking. Brought promptly to our table for two… we were handed menus and allowed ample time to peruse the menu. We ordered wine which arrived in an ice bucket and waiter poured the wine. Nice touch. Starters and mains were excellent and a nice coffee rounded off the meal..
