The Terrace is Chef John Fraser's American brasserie located in The Times Square EDITION. From theatergoers and power meetings to dinner parties and big brunches, our all-seasons garden restaurant offers an unexpected oasis for locals and tourists alike, nestled just steps away from New York City's most iconic intersection. The seasonal menu marries the innovation of contemporary cooking with a respect for American culinary traditions, all while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Brasserie classics share space with a wide variety of vegetable-forward offerings, a signature cooking style of Chef Fraser's.

We are located on the 9th floor of The Times Square EDITION, entrance on the north side of 47th Street just east of 7th Avenue.

    The ambiance was beautiful. The bacon was gross, more of an unseasoned jerkey. It wasn’t warm. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were amazing. Mushroom Omelette was lacking toppings and seasoning. Potatoes with the omelette were delicious.

    First of all, I wanted to say that I picked this place based on reviews and pictures. I’m sorry to say that the only thing that was great about this place was the outside terrace and garden. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. Our server started off friendly and after she took our order she disappeared. I had to flag down the bus boy to get more water and coffee. The surrounding tables near me were complaining as well. The food is way overpriced for what you get. We went to other places that were fantastic near the area. Don’t waste your time or money going here. Unless of course you like bad food and service.

    The overall vibe of the restaurant is great, and it’s insanely beautiful. For the price, the food does not match. We got the skirt steak, the ricotta cavatelli and both were decent— the steak was the better of the two. The Caesar salad was okay, it was very salty and was not overall what I was hoping for. We got the black and white dessert and could not finish it as the ice cream tasted similar to unmixed Greek yogurt (very sour). They have a great selection of wine, and although I did not try their cocktails those seated beside said they were good. We would only come back to take advantage of the wine, but would definitely eat somewhere else.

    Very poor service from young male server. Everything was an inconvenience. No sauces with meal. No milk with coffee. Refill of coffee non existent. Food was tasty for sure. For what tries to be a high end hotel, this single employee lets them down.

    Reservé para cenar con mis hijas de 12 y 14 años en Navidad y el mesero me dijo que si yo pedía el menú de Navidad (que costaba 95 dls por persona) lo teníamos q pedir todos, que no se podía pedir a la carta si alguien pedía el menú navideño. Mis hijas no comen grandes cantidades y no se me hacía justo gastar eso de manera obligada. Me molestó mucho eso y al final no pude comer el menú navideño y pedimos los 3 a la carta. Lo que pedimos estuvo delicioso.

    Very disappointed in this dining experience. The menu choices were limited and not very inspiring. I had the pork chop which was quite bland. The cranberry beans side was also bland. My husband’s short rib pasta was much better than my dish but awfully salty. Overall, though conveniently located in the same building as our hotel, it was a letdown.
