Lunch served Monday - Saturday, 12noon – 4.45pm
Afternoon Tea served Wednesday - Saturday, 2.45pm – 4.30pm. Bookings are required to be made within 48 hours of your reservation

Sunday Lunch: from 12 noon

Our bar and snug open daily offer a great spot for coffee, tea, drinks, and bar snacks. Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome in our bar until 7 PM

    Say hello to Afternoon Tea at The Tempus! (Hey Parents, we are also offering a Children's Afternoon Tea, treat your little munchkins for £19.95, just let us know how many children in the party in the notes!!!!) Indulge in a mouth-watering selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and a delicious array of miniature cakes and pastries.​ However we do require 48 hours notice as everything is prepared on the day for you. Our brand-new menu has been carefully designed by our very own pastry chef, using freshly sourced ingredients from Northumberland and the Borders. Need we say more?​ Afternoon Tea will be served every Friday and Saturday. Pre-booking is required 48hrs before.

    An amazing time had. Amazing flavours and ideas. Service was perfect and WILL be visiting again soon (if only to try the other options on the menu!!!!). Beautiful setting (if a little hard to find in the dark).

    Today was beautiful, the food the atmosphere and service. Mark who looked after us today is the most professional, helpful and friendly gentleman. He was so attentive and polite we thought he was wonderful. Mark really makes you feel taken care of and comfortable. Such an asset to a beautiful experience. Joanna and friends

    Second time here. And each time we left extremely satisfied. Food delicious, service excellent and beautiful surroundings. And to delight an Aberdonian even more it is super value even without the loyalty card! We’ll definitely be back sometime soon hopefully when the weather has improved so we can fully appreciate the hotel and the grounds.

    Not impressed by my starter, duck bon bons, sauce was very bland! Steak was exceptional though, beautiful crust and medium rare, fantastic (shame they forgot about the sauce I ordered until I reminded them, by the time that arrived things were not at the best temperature !). My wife had smoked cheese soufflé which she enjoyed along with her main of Sea Bream. Sadly something she ate disagreed with her as she was sick several times during the night, which is not like her at all. As the venue and decor is exceptional ( we stayed over) I so wanted to be impressed by this place but i was left feeling rather disappointed. Dinner service was poor in places but the breakfast team were spot on!

    We enjoyed our visit but we had some small issues. My husband thought his plates could have been hotter. As older guests we appreciated it when the "Christmas "music's volume was turned down.
