A true gem, this tea house is a treasure beyond words. The staff are cheerfully present and accommodating, serving with utmost care while crafting the ultimate tea experience. The ambiance is festive and warm, with friends old and new meeting to share in a prized selection of teas. A timelessly classic experience whether celebrating the joy of a lazy afternoon or a once in a lifetime occasion.

The holiday tea at the Tea House at Los Rios is absolutely delightful! Be aware that parking is an issue--most of the lots nearby are valet only, at least on this weekend in December. But once you get there, it is a beautifully decorated restaurant with stellar food and service. We have been coming here for many years and thought this year was one of their very finest holiday teas.

Really sad that the Xmas tea was a fail. I go here 4-6 times a year and though it can be pricy the menu is well thought out to accommodate a variety of tastes. The Xmas tea was not. After starting with delicious currant scones the second course was plated (not placed on the usual tiered stand). Six “sandwiches” were served only one of which was a salty savory treat. EVERYTHING else had sweet as the flavor profile. They weren’t necessarily bad but with dessert yet to come, provided no counterpoint to the other sweets. So disappointed AND $90!! Definitely not worth it this time😞

We had an amazing time and it was my son’s first tea experience and this will definitely become an annual Christmas tradition. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and everything was perfect.

The ambiance and decor, especially during thr holidays is festive and lovely. The service was excellent, and the food was tasty. Two people in our party opted for the holiday tea, and two got the holiday lunch. Everyone was really pleased with their choices. We’ll definitely return.

For $89 before tax and tip each, the holiday tea menu disappointed us greatly. The scone and teas were lovely, but the "sandwiches" and desserts were mediocre at best. We only liked one of the six sandwiches (the sliced turkey), which is simple and probably hard for any restaurant to get wrong. Two of the other sandwiches (the Brie pastry and smoked duck crostini) seemed like they would have been better served warm, but were cold, perhaps due to an overworked kitchen that wants to rush out food. The "ham salad" was particularly unappealing, in both taste and appearance. Atmosphere wise, the tea house is very cute and every team member was a delight. We just wish we didn't feel scammed out of $200+ for a disappointing experience.

We had a great time celebrating my daughter’s 19th birthday. She’s been enjoying the Tea House since she was a baby. ❤️
