   Really lovely food, went for Sunday lunch and the roast pork and all the food we ordered was excellent quality, beautifully prepared and presented . Highly recommend for a high standard reasonably priced restaurant in Harrogate.

   The menu offered a diverse choice and good wine selection. Starters: Scallops, definitely a highlight. Sea trout was refreshing and the home made crumpet was delicious. The black pudding starter was a hit for my husband and son and they said it was really well seasoned. We all had Sunday roasts - the beef was tender and the pork crackling was some of the best I've ever eaten. Deserts: Great selection and it was hard to choose. Sticky toffee pudding was a great choice. The pavlova was really refreshing. Service was exceptional. First time dining at The Tannin Level but I am confident that it will not be the last.

   From the greeting on entering, to the lovely wine waiter, waitress and the whole team - the food was exceptional , the wine amazing. We will definitely be back very soon .

   This meal was sublime. We went for the fixed price lunch menu for £22. The fish pie was not pre-prepared. It was all freshly put together- big chunks of fresh fish, crunchy samphire, capers, brown shrimps and a delicious sauce. My mum has a shellfish allergy and this was not a bother at all. They prepared hers separately. The portions were very generous. Other tables had delicious looking fish and chips that looked very fresh. Our desserts were a chocolate ganache shortbread with toffee ice cream. Wow! And raspberry meringue with passion fruit and mango coulis. A match made in heaven and beautifully presented. The chefs are super talented - the a la carte menu looked so good. I’m going back! The staff were friendly and professional. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. You really must go!
