We are a country pub situated deep in the heart of Sussex, supporting our community and local breweries.
Come and enjoy the finest ales, wines and spirits selected for quality, and excellent food created from fresh local ingredients proud to support local suppliers the village butcher and venison from Warnham Park
Please let us know if youre bringing a dog , as you will be seated in the bar
We have been in the Good Beer Guide for over twenty years in a row, which equates to over a million pints of Good Beer!
We hold the CASK Marque Award for quality, and even prouder to support our nominated charity - the Sussex Air Ambulance.

    Lovely setting, gorgeous old pub with fireplace, we sat overlooking Warnham church. Food high standard pub fare, service polite and prompt, no blaring music.

    The pub was really nice and a good atmosphere but where we sat around the corner away from the fire was a bit chilly.

    Good menu choices plus specials Very friendly and welcoming staff It was lunchtime and a little quiet but that meant we could chat and hear each other and had very good service

    Very warm welcome from the team. Food was excellent & service was paced exactly right. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience & very impressed with the level of customer service. A very pleasant pub.

    We had Sunday roast which was not nearly as good as last time. Meat was lovely but the pork crackling was pathetically tiny (teaspoon size) i asked for more. Also a Yorkshire pudding was £1.50 extra unless you had beef and it was hard and overcooked. Potatoes weren't crispy like before. The red cabbage was almost inedible as it was overpoweringly vinegary. Other vegetables were nice. As we were really looking forward to this meal after a superb meal the time before we were disappointed.

    We were with friends and despite some reviws we had a lovely meal. The specials which was the xmas burger and slow rosdted pork belly were delicious. Also the steak and ale pie. Everything was hot. The winter berry cheesecake was the nicest I havevhad for a long time. The pub was quiet but not cold as some reviews had mentioned.
