   I shared an excellent shepherds pie . Dessert wine lovely with pear and almond tart. Sweet space. Attentive waitress. Watch hard working chefs take their craft seriously. A gift to Norwich.

   Another absolutely fantastic dinner with friends. Norwich has some great restaurants and The Steam Packet is definitely one of them. Buzzing & cosy atmosphere, brilliant staff who are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable and as always, an interesting and delicious menu. Thank you - we will definitely be back soon!

   Delicious sirloin steak for two cooked to perfection and fries and salad well prepared and tasted great . Will definitely be back .

   A very enjoyable evening with delicious food and wine, friendly service and a great environment. The devilled mutton kidneys and the thatched farm mutton with chard were particularly good. Thank you to everyone in the Steam packet.

   Paid an extremely high price for the T-bone steak which was tough and extremely chewy. Mentioned it to the waitress- the chef came over to apologise and offered us a dessert which we declined. Such a shame as I’d heard great things. I unfortunately won’t be a returning customer

   Best restaurant in Norwich and for good reason. Top quality cookery, paying homage to the old school kitchens and classic dining.

    Another fantastic dinner with friends. An interesting but short menu (which is a good thing!) which changes regularly. Great staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food - I had the prawn chilli toasts, the red mullet and then the rice pudding with marmalade icecream and all of it was divine. Thank you!
