The Statler is an American Bistro and Cocktail Bar nestled into the heart of Downtown Detroit's Entertainment District. The Statler offers classic cuisine with a slightly modern twist, catering to both adventurous and traditional diners alike. Our menu was created by Certified Master Chef Daniel Scannell, modeling a French Bistro. The Statler delivers a world class Gastro and Mixology Bar and Formal Dining Room Experiences. Enjoy a Smoked Old Fashioned with Suntory Japanese Whiskey and Crispy Calamari, and Friends during Happy Hour, then a Bottle of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon with Braised Short Ribs and Family in our Dining Room. The Statler is within walking distance from venues like Comerica Park, Ford Field, Detroit Opera House, Fox Theatre, Little Caesar’s Arena, and more. Server Marcus was awesome. Beat salad lacked goat cheese. Halibut was lacking flavour. Steak was great Calamari was fantastic

They didn’t serve an item on the menu I was going to order. The waitress said it was because the restaurant was no longer ‘French’! It also was VERY noisy. Finally, the fish I had to order because they weren’t ’French’ wasn’t cooked properly.

our server was not personable or friendly. i think her name was Anna. she had somewhat of an attitude. did not like the fact that the check could not be broken down with what each diner owed individually. not fair to the diners that didn't order wine or full meals. made it very difficult on our guests. will not return unless that check policy changes.

Great holiday dinner. Our waitress Noel was awesome. One of our drinks came and was not made properly, Noel went back and got it handled. Food was fabulous. Holiday decor perfect.

Disappointed in the food - salmon was fishy and halibut was bland and dry. Dessert and service were great though… not worth the price.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s 40th birthday. Sara our server made our evening very special. The food was incredible. Her service was friendly and very efficient. Thank you one and all for making this evening so special
