    Lovely late lunch; had to wait awhile for bill but ok. Dirty fork dropped on husbands shirt / all fine but hence one less star!

    Fabulous food and terrific service. Every course was delicious from starters through to desert. The garlic prawns were outstanding and the streaks and fish mains cooked to perfection. The level of service matched the food. First visit to the Edinburgh branch of The Spanish Butcher but won’t be the last.

    My 3rd visit in a year or so. Steak is excellent as usual. All other food is above-average. Wine is over-priced. Staff are nice and professional. Spent some GBP 340 for a dinner for 3 this visit. Not too bad overall. Toilet hygiene is nevertheless of third world standard. This is a serious management issue. Cleanliness of toilets is a mirror of that of the kitchen.

    Lovely food but very small portion sizes for the expensive prices, as-well as a 12.5 service charge which is massively over the top, was a great let down.
