Server was very passive not attentative to service Dinner was ok not what we expected little pricy for potions also the Lasagna is very poor sour taste too it. The Manager came to table explained it to him he did remove it from the bill gave us a nice box of cookies as a I believe peace offering nice gesture . Although this given I still will rate this restaurant a 2 out of 5 for food ,service and price .also I am not a Gordon Ramsay Contestant I am a prior student of Mr Ramsay's and a Le Cordon Bleu International Culinary Chef specializes in Confectionery and international foods . So the INSULT being called a "Ramsay Contestant " was Rude. Cookies or not I will not be back to this restaurant.

The food was amazing! Delicious and sizable portions. Our server was also great; she was attentive without being overly at our table. Fantastic experience, we will be back!

We go to the SB in Peoria about every 6 weeks and each time the food is very good as well as the ambience of this restaurant. Jason, the maître de (or manager) does a fine job greeting people and ensuring we ((everyone) are doing fine. I highly recommend this restaurant. Mark P.

Visiting the area. Table for four, sat outside on a beautiful evening - ambiance was nice, noise was acceptable for being close to a roadway. Having read great reviews and travelled extensively, we were expecting better. For Italian food (even Americanized) it was average. The charcuterie plate was OK, enough for the table, but not anything special for $14 a person - a few slices of cured meat, some grapes, cheeses and a fig spread (actually the best on the plate). The bread was OK. The pasta was well cooked for all the dishes - but the sauces were average - not much better than store bought if you added a few fresh ingredients; although the carbonara was excellent. The Sicilian Sausage meatballs and Turkey Parmigiana meatballs were a particular disappointment- flavorless and mostly filler. Just over $150 for the meal including two alcoholic drinks was acceptable for what we received. But there are almost certainly better options in the area. We never expect “real” Italian food when we eat out in the US, and The Sicilian Butcher looked promising but didn’t quite impress. We travel to the Phoenix area every few months, unfortunately we didn’t find a favorite restaurant in The Sicilian Butcher - but maybe it was just an off night.

The food was not that good for the price. Our server was not good and took forever to bring anything to our table. We asked for butter and by the time she brought it, we all already ate our bread. Our drinks took forever to get to our table. I would try this restaurant again, as the drinks were good. Hopefully if I do go back, the service will be better.

The food was poor! My chicken Parmesan was dry and tough, my husband’s pork chop Parmesan was the same! The price of the food was outrageously expensive and you didn’t get much for what they were charging…like with the chicken parm …you just got the meat. It did not come with any sides and the price was $27.00! If you wanted bread at the table you had to pay extra for that. Needless to say, I will never go back!

We sat outside. It was a beautiful day, the service was fantastic, and the food was good with large portions. At first, it seems like things are a little pricey, but you definitely get your money's worth. Even on a warm day, it would've been wonderful to sit outside because they have a missing system that works wonderfully.

Service was not good. They seemed overwhelmed took forever just to get our soda and wine. Then they forgot our salad and our pasta took a long time. Tables sat after us got their food first. Good thing is that the pasta tasted good!
