As a Team we meet regularly and this is the second time we have met at Bangers, (in the Summer there were ten people), the service, food, ambiance, etc. is exactly right for us.

The new landlord, Paul, is very friendly and keen to impress. I dined there a couple of weeks ago when the butcher hadn't delivered that day. Service was slow, but the manager insisted there was no charge. You can't say fairer than that. At least yo uknow the food is fresh, and not all from the freezer. I went a week or so later for lunch again. Service much better this time, and food was good. It won't win a Michelin star, but It's good quality pub food. Beer select ion is nice and the landlord wants to get some new beers in to try. The fact they take Gourmet Card is a bonus, giving 2 meals for the price of 1. I'll certainly go again.

We went to this pub with my friend and had a meal and some drinks. Service is really friendly, however it's not enough to compensate for poor food in order to make me want to come back to eat there. I'd say I might pop over for a drink if I'm in the area again - their pints are good. However, I will not recommend this place to my friends...

Our lunch was perfectly nice (good pub lunch style food) and quite good value, but the kitchen was extremely slow. This was sorted with an apology and free round of drinks so no complaints there. It is very casual and a nice atmosphere and certainly wont break the bank. I will probably go back.

A quick meal before attending a concert down the road; excellent home-made Scotch egg (only one left at 6.00pm so shared), reasonably good burger and teriyaki chicken burger - both a bit dry but the buns were fresh and the thick chips good. I'd go again for lunch or supper - nothing special but good as a place to catch up and have a few drinks while eating.
