   Great dining experience at the Royal Oak last evening. A beautifully presented London pub with comfortable seating and the tables feel well spaced apart for such a popular pub. The furnishings and plants gave a relaxing ambience and we had a table by the window which felt very spacious. The service was outstanding - we were welcomed at the door and the service during the meal was attentive and not intrusive. The fish and chips were delicious and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend The Royal Oak and we will be booking again.

   Food and service was exceptional. Extensive wine list too. Only comment would be no Gluten free dessert for my friend and could do with one more veggie main. Otherwise amazing!! Highly recommend.

    Busy even on a Monday night. There was a barman and a waiter but as it got busy service overlapped and after we’d sat down three other tables sat after us were served first. We could see a table set for 12 so fearing we would behind their order we waved to order. After that all was well service wise. The ham in the ham eggs and chips was ham hough and slightly too salty but everything else was delicious Also after 8pm they won’t serve you coffee machine was ‘closed’ we were told😂
