Best nut roast I’ve tasted, with a great range of flavourful veg.

Lovely welcoming pub with a super restaurant. We were thoughtfully seated & served superbly through the evening. The food is consistently excellent quality & prepared beautifully. Always a special occasion, eating here, whether it's an evening out or lunch time catch up.

The variety of dishes was really good . Inventive and some quite unusual dishes for a pub, but all of the favourites too. Wine list was good- not too extensive but our Rioja was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Service was friendly and punctual and the decor and cleanliness of the pub were excellent . The new owners have certainly made many improvements to the layout. We will definitely return.

I arrived at 1pm and my guests were already seated with drinks and menus. 2 of the group had starters so we waited aftet they had finished fir the main course. The portion sizes were very good and the service was friendly and polite. I would eat there again.

Not been here before, but always wanted to try it. Had family visiting, so decided to give it a try. Glad I did, the food was really good and a great amount of choice. Service was spot on and we really enjoyed our evening and the food and drink. Definitely will be going back again
