   Had a wonderful dinner at The Royal Hotel. The food was excellent, the service attentive. I've eaten here a few times and will continue patronize this fabulous gem in Prince Edward County.

   The Royal Hotel is lovely and we have been several times. The food is great with a range from pizza to more creative and unique. The kale salad is one of our favorites. The service was excellent and our server Carrie was very lovely. There were also some new cocktails on the menu which we tried and were excellent. Highly recommend!!

   The service was friendly and attentive. The person who take of us had a genuine interest in the menu and advised us well. The food was delicious. It was carefully prepared and beautifully plated. The decor is better suited to breakfast and lunch in terms of ambiance. It is too brightly lit and open concept for evening dining.

   Great service and really good food. We had the meatballs and arancini, a few pastas and the duck, everything was great. Glad to see some non alcoholic beverages that were very tasty. Thanks everyone!

    Brand new waiter, that’s fine, but he was just a little too green and felt his nervousness. I know he’ll find his footing and shine. Wine was amazing but we did not get the bottle until after we had eaten the appetizers…. Probably would have had a second bottle if the timing was better, but in hindsight that saved me a few hundred dollars! The food was outstanding, I love this place. I’ll be back and maybe be more aggressive in figuring out the wine before we get in to food orders. Still, The Royal is better than most restaurants in Toronto, way to go Picton!
