    Menu choices and food quality are only exceeded by the excellent and very professional service. I have NEVER had a mmarginal experience at The Mansion…the value and experience and service far outweigh cost.

    Service was slow and the food was sub-par. I've had better steaks cooked at home. The cocktails were over-poured. The scallops appetizer was not edible - tasted terrible and the scallops were slimy. The peppercorn on the steaks was way overdone and overpowered any other flavors from any other food we tried to enjoy. The mashed potatoes were wonderful and actually the star of the evening. It took us over three hours to get through our meal. One dish arrived not as ordered and while they did replace the dish with the correct order it meant that one person waited while others ate or let their food get cold. Overall was not a pleasant experience and we will not be returning.

    A lovely fine dining experience we enjoyed. The only thing that would have made it better was eliminate the noisy singing crowd in the bar! And the crying toddler in the adjoining room.

    We’ve dined at The Mansion for many years. This year we decided to do the fixe menu for New Year’s Eve. What we got for $700 was a terrible disappointment! The food was sub par. The steak was hardly chewable. My entree of risotto was a plate of bland nothing; I did not eat it. Of the five Courses only dessert was worth while. The Mansion is also getting tired looking as presented by the sagging curtains! The staff was wonderful!! We live in the area and will be dining at the other really fine dining in Uptown. I’m sad to say goodbye to an old friend.
