Absolutely wonderful! I met my 80 yr old parents for lunch and although they had had a summer home in Harwich for 20 years they had never been to Oceans Edge. They loved the old Irish charm, dark wood and beautiful (working!) fireplaces with real wood fires. Perfect for a chilly day. It was sunny and we had a gorgeous view of the Bay. We also had the place to ourselves and a very attentive staff. Would highly recommend!! We will be back.

Our first visit to the Roscommon Room after reading good reviews. What a delightfully cozy atmosphere for a winter dinner! Food was excellent, and service very attentive. Fireplaces in every room, and a piano player in the lobby made it a special evening. Will definitely go back!

The restaurant is an intimate historical venue. Winter has it glowing with a formal fireplace in both dining rooms which are off the main entrance to the Ocean Edge Mansion. A perfect romantic setting or place to relax and enjoy great food.

I had high expectations for our dining experience at the Roscommon Room but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. When making the reservation, I had assumed we would be seated in the main room with the bar. Instead, we were placed in a separate room. While I appreciated being given a quiet table by the fireplace, as requested, the fire was not tended to and eventually went out, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. Service was noticeably slow, and we were disappointed to find that two entrée items listed on the online menu were not available on the menu we were given at the restaurant. These unexpected menu omissions were frustrating, as we had been looking forward to specific dishes, specifically the scallops. After dinner, we headed to the bar, which turned out to be the highlight of the evening. The bartender was incredibly accommodating and personable, crafting excellent drinks and making us feel welcome. He typically works in the Pub, so we considered ourselves lucky to have experienced his exceptional service at the Roscommon Room that night. While the overall experience was underwhelming, the bartender’s professionalism and skill stood out as the best part of the evening.

Had high expectations and arrived early, which the restaurant was able to accommodate. The service staff was friendly and attentive, but the drink service was disappointingly slow. Our first round took 15 minutes, and we ended up canceling our after-dinner drinks because the wait was too long. The food was good, but not great. Overall, a decent experience, but the slow drink service took away from it.

The Irish stew was bitter, due to all the parsnips in it, I think. Or turnips? This is a very noisy restaurant.

We had the beef stew. Very small bowls, bare shreds of meat, and the potatoes were woefully uncooked. Top dollar for disappointing fare.

Our server, Ricky, was exceptional. One of the best servers we have encountered in a long time. He treated us as though we were his only patrons. Food was exceptional. Presentation was superb. Our meal choices didn’t disappoint. Overall a fine dining experience! Thank you, Ricky and chef.
