Bar staff not that friendly. Drink service or barcode scanner on table would be great.

Really disappointed as we spent a lot of money on our work’s Christmas Party but were ushered out quite rudely after our meal and were sent through to the bar area. Again we carried on spending lots of money as there was 28 of us, but kept being asked to more as the tables were being used! This was extremely annoying as we felt the venue wanted us out. The final straw was when a couple of colleagues were refused drinks. They were definitely not drunk. I think we’d spent enough and felt it was time to move on to a better venue where we would be welcome! This was a very bad decision after all the money we’d spent at the restaurant and it was embarrassing for our company!!

This was our first visit here and after a family function at the symphony hall we can e here. We had my mom with us who has very poor mobility, but the staff were really kind and helpful and guided us to the lift to the downstairs restaurant area. The staff were attentive, friendly, interactive and humorous - really great. The food was generally good, with the exception of the braised beef which was tough and fatty - seemed like left over beef slices rather than braised beef. Otherwise, really great evening out Thank you

Very limited menu anyway but 3 items out of stock plus all Sunday roasts sold out even though we were a table of 11 and had booked several weeks in advance.

We had a table booked for 8pm last night, we didn’t get seated until 8:40, we was told that there was a 30 minute wait for food which we said was okay however the food did not come out for an hour and 20 minutes! 3 meals came and then one 5 minutes later and still no loaded fries! Then we witnessed the manager shouting at the staff in a private room to the side of the bridge, which was not acceptable

Although the food was high quality, we had nearly an hour wait between the first and second course which made us rush out towards the end. We did pre-order too yet there was still a huge delay.

Lovely food and great host Kelly! She was absolutely brilliant with us. The restaurant itself is beautiful as soon as you walk in it smells wonderful and the Christmas decorations were amazing. Would definitely go again with my boyfriend

Food is always exceptional, however, service is getting worse. Staff are not very attentive although do not want them hovering over you when you are eating, drink never arrived had to ask again, was waiting for around 20 minutes before getting anyone's attention for a desert menu, no-one then actually followed it up if we did want deserts or coffee so we ended up just asking for the bill. Shame really, we've been going there since it first opened but the service definitely lets it down and without realising, you are having to pay a service charge for a shoddy service. Will look to go elsewhere in future and would be reluctant to recommend on to family and friends.

The Rolling Mill is such a find! I’ve never had a bad meal here—everything is always spot on. The portion sizes are generous, the food is served piping hot, and the service is always top-notch. On my latest visit, I tried their new Christmas cocktails, and the attention to detail really stood out. The place itself is spacious and spotless, and it’s especially lovely to visit this time of year. If you’re thinking of going, definitely book early—you won’t regret it!
